Edit a Page
Editing a page is very easy thankfully to WordPress. Before we start, you'll need to make sure you are logged in and can navigate to the page you're wanting to edit.
- Make sure you are Signed In.
- Navigate to the page you want to edit on the front-end of the website and click Edit Page on the black bar at the top of your screen.
If you don't see the black bar and you are signed in, then you do not have sufficient user permissions to make changes to the website
Launching the Page Builder
By clicking edit page, this takes us to the WordPress Admin Edit Page screen. Here, we'll decide if the page is a default WordPress page or if the Page Builder is being used.
- If the Page Builder is being used to create the page, you'll see a message saying so. Go ahead and click the Launch Page Builder button.
- We are taken to the actual page so we can make changes using the drag and drop page builder. Make any necessary changes you need. Hover your cursor over the rows and modules for more options or just click inside any of them to reveal the editing screen.
- When you're all done with the changes, click Done.
- To make your changes live, click Publish Changes. Likewise, you can save your changes for another day or discard them altogether. Or just cancel to go back to editing the page.
- After making your selection, you'll be taken back to the live page. The black bar at the top tells me we're looking at a live page. Repeat the process if needed.
