Change the work order status

One of the most important aspects of a work order, the status determines where in its lifetime the work order currently resides. From New to Open to Review to Resolved, statuses represents an indicator of the next logical step a work order should take. In the default work orders list, the initial filter shows only the unresolved statuses for a quick look of work orders that still require attention.

Step by Step Instructions

  1. Select an active work order from the list.
  2. Click the Status dropdown menu, which opens the list of status colors and labels.
  3. Select the desired status. It will automatically save your change.
