Editing Docs & Info Page on Community Website

Log in to the community website using the “Log in” button on the website in the upper right

It will bring you to the portal login page > enter your email address and password, then click LOG IN

Click the down arrow in the upper left by “Select an app…”

Select "Website"

It will take you to the WordPress Dashboard

Click on the Community Name in the black tool bar at the top.

Then click Visit Site

It will take you to the Home Page of the Community Website

Click on the Docs & Info tab.

Then click the Page Builder at the top in the black tool bar.

Next, click on the box you want to add a document to - once it is highlighted in blue, click on it.

The Text Editor Settings box will open up.

To add a new document, put the cursor in the spot you want to insert the document. (Be sure to name the document the exact title you want to appear on the website.) Then click the "Add Media" button.

Click Upload Files > Select Files > Open

It will show up in the Media Library once it is upload. Double check the title is correct and click the “Insert Into Post” button on the bottom right.

It will show up in the Text Editor box with the Document title name and underlined to show the words are linked to the document you uploaded.

Once finished adding documents, click the blue “Save” button.



Creating a New Card for a Different Category of Documents

Hover over one of the document cards already there

Click on the Duplicate icon (two pieces of paper) to duplicate the card

The duplicated card will automatically appear just below. You can drag and drop it to where you need it to go by hovering over the cross symbol.

Click on the box to edit the title and remove duplicated documents.

Then follow the same procedure above to insert new documents before saving.


Saving & Publishing Changes to the Website

Once you complete making changes to the home page of the website, click the Done blue button at the top right.

Then click Publish Changes to make the changes live to the site. 

If you’re not ready to make the changes live, just click “Save Changes and Exit.” 

If you made a mistake or changed your mind on the changes, you can also click “Discard Changes and Exit,” which means any changes you made in the Page builder will delete and the website will revert to the immediate previous version.
